I was quite impressed with the fact that chia pudding can be prepared in as little as 2 minutes mixing chia seeds with milk and I just need to leave it in the fridge for a few hours, then load it with even more goodness. 

Chia seeds are hyped for a good reason. They are high in fibre, protein and omega-3 fatty acids and they are low in calories. I love to build chia seeds in my breakfast as they make me feel full for longer because of the high fibre content. 

You can add literally any kind of fruits, nuts, or nut butters to complete your chia pudding. Enjoy it for breakfast or as a healthy snack during the day.

Chia pudding - Filthy Fit recipe

Ingredients for 1 portion:

120 ml almond milk

20 g chia seeds

1 tsp maple syrup

Fruits of your choice

1 tbsp dry roasted almonds


Method:

Take a small jar and measure the almond milk, the chia seeds and the maple syrup and mix well. 

Put in the fridge overnight or at least for a few hours and when you are ready to dig in, serve with fresh fruits and a few roasted almonds on top.
