Here is another super quick healthy snack recipe that you can take with you on the go for an afternoon protein top up, or you can have it as a breakfast when you slept through the alarm and there is no time to prepare anything else.
Delicious handy snack for nut freaks like me.
Use any kind of nuts you find at home, I added peanuts, almonds, pistachio, cashews and a little bit of macadamia too this time.
Ingredients:
200 g chocolate chips
120 g almond butter
60 g maple syrup
30 g coconut oil
180 g mixed nuts
Method:
Line a small square-shaped baking tray with baking parchment.
In a small pot combine the chocolate chips, almond butter, maple syrup and the coconut oil over medium heat and mix until melted.
Add the mixed nuts and mix until fully combined.
Transfer the mixture in the baking tray and refrigerate until firm.
Cut it into small bars.
