I remember getting super excited when I found a homemade Snickers recipe a few months ago. Snickers is my forever favourite not so healthy snack but KitKat is the second on the list.

These homemade KitKat bars are quite impressing, and you get much more for less coins than buying them in the supermarket.

I used half milk-half dark chocolate chips, but you can make it vegan by going for dairy free chocolate.

Homemade KitKat - Filthy Fit recipe

Ingredients:

200g chocolate chips (milk, dark, or dairy free)

130g peanut butter

65g maple syrup

40g coconut oil

180g Nestle Shreddies

Method:

Measure all ingredients but the Shreddies in a mixing bowl and microwave until melted. Make sure to give it a stir every minute or so to avoid burning.

Remove from microwave and whisk until combined completely.

Add the Shreddies and combine with the melted ingredients.

Line a square shaped baking tray with parchment paper and pour the mixture in.

Refrigerate for a few hours, until it gets firm.
