There are not many things more satisfying than starting a day with a healthy and filling breakfast.
Oats are considered to be one of the healthiest whole grains on earth as they are packed with vitamins, minerals and fibre. They will help you to feel fuller for longer.
Make your oatmeal interesting by choosing a different topping each day. There are so many options to choose from: strawberries, bananas, blueberries, raspberries, peaches, apples, and I only mentioned a few fruits yet. You can add some cinnamon or even nutmeg to boost those flavours.
And don’t forget about nuts or nut butters. Use whole nuts for a crunchy oatmeal or sweeten it with a spoonful of delicious nut butter.
This morning I tried a simple oatmeal with fresh strawberries, and I mixed in a teaspoon of Mandulorian almond-pistachio butter that you can find as well on the Filthy Fit website. 😊 The dark chocolate in this nut butter really went well with the strawberries.

Ingredients for one portion:
60 g oats
120 ml milk of your choice
1 teaspoon Mandulorian nut butter
3-4 strawberries
Add any nuts you like
Method:
Add the oats and the milk to a pot and cook over medium heat stirring frequently until creamy.
Stir in a teaspoon of Mandulorian nut butter and serve with fresh strawberries and nuts.
