Banana bread is seriously one of the best things that have ever been experimented. Well done to that person who made one for the first time. The additional ingredients to make them more delicious is countless. In this recipe we will make a nut butter banana bread with nut butter of your choice and cacao.
Cashew, almond, or peanut butter? It’s completely up to you and your favour. I am going for peanut butter because I like that the most with the taste of banana. Just make sure you go for a natural nut butter without added oils and sugars to keep it on the healthy side.

Ingredients:
3 ripe bananas
3 eggs
40 g maple syrup
3 tbsp coconut oil
180 g peanut/cashew/almond butter (natural)
90 g cacao powder
1 tsp baking powder
0.5 tsp baking soda
Pinch of salt
Method:
Preheat the oven to 175 degrees C.
Line a small loaf pan with baking parchment.
Mix all dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
Smash the bananas until there are no big chunks left. Add the melted coconut oil, maple syrup, eggs, and the nut butter and mix well. Add the mixture to the dry ingredients and combine until they form a smooth batter. Pour the batter into the loaf pan and bake for about 45 minutes.
Let it cool down before slicing.
