Are you feeling guilty every time you indulge in a sweet treat? As someone who loves doughnuts but also values a healthy lifestyle, I know how hard it can be to find a balance. That's why I'm excited to share with you my favorite guilt-free treat: protein doughnut muffins!

I was sure to love this recipe since the first glance. They don't just satisfy your sweet tooth, but they also provide a boost of protein. And the best part? They're easy to make and customize to your taste preferences.

I love experimenting with different flavors and toppings but these doughnuts are the best filled with different flavored nut butters, they don't need anything else. Sometimes I like to add some chopped nuts or shredded coconut on top for some extra crunch.

With just a few basic ingredients you can whip up a batch of these delicious doughnuts in no time. They make a great post-workout snack or a guilt-free treat to enjoy with a cup of coffee in the morning.

Ingredients:

50 g flour

30 g protein powder

2 tbsp sweetener of your choice

3 g baking powder

2 g baking soda

150 g greek yoghurt

1 egg white

1 tsp vanilla extract

2 tbsp Filthy Fit almond butter with pistachio and dark chocolate (optional)

 Almond pistachio butter filled protein doughnuts

Method:

Mix the dry ingredients and the wet ingredients in 2 separate bowls, then fold them together. Divide the batter into the spaces of a  muffin tray.

Bake for 8-10 minutes on 180 °C. 

Let them cool down, then make a hole in the middle and fill with delicious Filthy Fit almond butter with pistachio and dark chocolate.
